Frans de Bruïne worked for 18 years as a director in the European Commission DG Information Society and Media. In his last assignment as Director of ICT for Societal Challenges he was in charge of shaping the Large Scale Pilots in the Competitiveness and Innovation Program. After leaving the Commission in 2008 he founded his own company ISC4.EU with the mission to advise organisations in the public and private sector in their relations with the EU for more details see www.isc4.eu. He is External Quality Manager of the SPOCS project.
