Gilles Polin is the lead manager of Government initiatives for Adobe EMEA. His responsibilities include defining and implementing Government Industry business strategy in the EMEA region as well as developing and promoting Adobe partners' solutions in all fields of Government across Europe. Polin joined Adobe EMEA in August 2010 after working in a variety of roles for the last 23 years - including software engineering, marketing program management, sales management, European Union government relations and eGovernment leadership in EMEA - for Microsoft and HP. He holds a master of science degree in electronics engineering from Ecole Supérieure d'Informatique-Electronique-Automatique of Paris. Title of the presentation: Public Content and Service Quality Assurance
Abstract: For citizens, Quality of Service in the area of Government services has a quite wide definition as it brings together accessibility to the information and content accuracy. Citizens are expecting an "enterprise-class" service from Governments and the quality is crucial if Member States want to develop online services and move from "in line" to "online" for the sake of cost savings. The presentation will review all of these areas and will feature some concrete examples from Central, Regional and Local Governments across the European Union.
